What’s the Big Idea | Random Note Fridays #33
Wow, it’s Friday again which means I’m doing check in on The Chicken, getting all fluent with myself and others, sharing how aware (or not) we are of the events, people and opportunities the universe presents to us based on our focus and desires. Talking about the hard and the good.
And I’m sharing Random Notes from My Desk with you.
CELEBRATE! It’s Friday, ya’ll.
Three-fourths of this wonderful month of January is gone. Just poof. Vanished into the time, space continuum.
And the plan for those three weeks didn’t come to fruition, although…it bore a different kind of fruit.
Ain’t that just how it goes. You expect X, possibly Y, maybe even a little Z and you get L.
Yeah, exactly, how in the world did you get all the way from X to L? Was it poor planning, poor implementation and execution or were the expectations wrong all along?
And does it really matter? In the end, does it?
The expectations were X, possibly Y and a little bit of Z, and damnit expectations matter. Feelings like - frustration, anger, annoyance, failure over not getting X, some Y or some Z, are going to show up. Feel them.
Allow them to be what they are, because crap, you needed, counted on and wanted those things. Now you don’t have them instead you have this middle letter L!
What can you do with L? What is L good for? Or are you going to stay all mad because you didn’t get X, Y or Z?
It’s all a matter of perspective. Really does the sun get mad when the clouds cover her up? If the sun had feelings (and I don’t know that she doesn’t. I don’t know that she’s a she either but…yeah anyway)
Do something with L. It’s what you’ve got.
Nah there was no note on the desk this week precipitating the above. In fact this week, there were no notes at all. You’re seeing my L.
What are you doing with yours?
And no matter whether you do a Chicken check-in or not, random events, people and opportunities are showing up in your life that aren’t really random at all – CELEBRATE THEM!
I love the new theme! Well done! And what an opportunity to change things up. It’s hard to believe how fast time passes. I’m grateful for every moment.
